The Year of the Fire Goat begins on 6 February 2027, the day of the new moon in Beijing time, and lasts until 25 January 2028. The next day the Year of the Earth Monkey begins.

How do I know my Chinese zodiac animal?
It comes from your year of birth, counted from Lunar New Year and not from 1 January. Enter your full date of birth above. If you were born in January or early February, the exact date decides which of two animals is yours.

Is it the Year of the Goat or the Sheep?
