What this one is about
This retrograde stays inside Scorpio from start to finish. Mercury turns back at 20 degrees of the sign and turns forward again at 5. Scorpio is the sign of what people do not say out loud. So these three weeks tend to bring back the conversation you avoided, the money question nobody opened, the feeling you named once and buried.

1. What to review · Seven of Pentacles
In the review place. A young man rests on his hoe and looks at the pentacles he has grown, most of them still on the vine. He is not working; he is looking. That is the whole card: stop and count what you have before you plant more. What to review here is something you have been building for months, a job, a savings plan, a project. Ask whether it is growing the way you meant it to.
2. What to pause · Knight of Swords
In the pause place. A knight charges on a white horse with his sword raised, his cape flying, the trees behind him bent by the wind. He is speed itself. In the pause place, the card tells you exactly what to hold: the fast reply, the sharp message, the decision made in anger. Write it if you must, and do not send it until Mercury turns direct.
3. What to say again · Two of Cups
In the say-again place. A young man and a young woman face each other and exchange cups. Above them floats the staff of Hermes with its two snakes and a lion's head with wings. Hermes is Mercury in Greek dress, so this is his own card, and it is about an agreement between two people. What to say again is a promise you made at the start of something: the terms, the plan, the simple yes. Say it again, out loud, to the other person.
