How does the three card vote work?
Each of your three cards carries its own yes, no, or not yet clear. The reading counts the votes: majority answers. When yes and no tie, the reading says so honestly and keeps the question open instead of forcing a verdict out of a split table.
One card or three: which should I use?
One card when you want a plain answer to a plain question. Three when the question has sides, because the second and third card show what pushes toward yes and what resists. If you keep re-asking a one card reading, that is usually a three card question.
What does a tied vote mean?
That the situation is genuinely balanced on an edge, and something real, often something yours, will tip it. Look at which card voted no and read its reason: that card is naming the thing that would have to move. A tie is not a failed reading; it is a map of the deadlock.
