Common questions
Why only one card?
Because one card cannot argue with itself. A single card gives the question one voice and forces the answer to be plain. When you want nuance, the three card version weighs voices against each other; when you want a straight answer, one card is the honest tool.
Do reversed cards change the answer?
They soften it rather than flip it. A card that answers yes upright answers not yet clear when reversed; a not yet clear darkens toward no. A no stays a no. Reversal means the card's energy is present but blocked, so the door does not swing open wider upside down.
What does “not yet clear” mean?
It means the situation itself has not decided. Some cards, like the High Priestess or the Hermit, describe moments that are still forming, and forcing them into yes or no would invent certainty that does not exist. Treat it as: not like this, not today, ask again when something moves.
